Cottonwood Civil Air Patrol Cadets Hold BBQ in Honor of International Cadets

International Cadets from Canada, Scotland and Northern Ireland visit Cottonwood Cadets on July 25, 2008. The honorary barbecue was held at Windmill Park in Cornville. The Cottonwood Cadets recently won their third national wing drill event. The Civil Air Patrol Cadets train in leadership principles, physical fitness, moral leadership, and other military concepts. They assist Senior Staffs in executing the Cadet program and participate in Emergency Services missions.

Email from Niall Williamson on Aug. 8, 2008:

Hi
I'm Niall Williamson, one of the British cadets that was hosted in Cottonwood on the 25th July. I would once again like to thank you for your hospitality and all of the photographs that you took of the barbeque. It was a great night and I really enjoyed the hospitality and friendliness shown by all.
Many thanks
Niall
PS: I just noticed that in your 'blurb' about the exchange it says that I am from Ireland. I'm actually from Northern Ireland which is part of the United Kingdom.
