The Police Department uses volunteers for data entry, background check assistance, vehicle maintenance activities and to participate in special events.
 

Fire Department

(Cottonwood Fire Dept advertises for volunteer firefighters in October/November of each year)
 

Parks & Recreation
Robin Babbitt, Ph: 639-3200. This department uses volunteers for everything from Fun Run assistants, summer activity volunteers to Parks & Recreation and Youth Commission members.
 

Library
Vanessa Ward, Ph: 634-7559. Always looking for someone who would like to assist the public, sort and file books, check-in/check out, audio visual room aid, special projects, book covering and mending, etc.
